Ive owned 4 thunderaces over the years and a lot of other stuff but nothing comes close for usability. ive done a few mods including a hayabusa front end (quickens up the steering) 955i single sider / cbrr subframe seat/modded exhaust/ looks the dogs. Stays with most new stuff on the road both sliders worn out all for less than £3000 result ! get one before the secret gets out.

Yamaha YZF1000 Thunderace Mine's a P Reg Thunderace, looks stunning in black/grey/silver. I've had it for a year and a half, done 5000 miles (now 23K). It's very fast once the EXUP exhaust valve opens at 6000rpm, the whole character changes from a tourer to something much more exciting. Handling and brakes are just great, its ultra ultra reliable, economical - just one great bike. Psst it's for sale too, £1650 with new MOT and just fitted rear tyre (puncture, sigh, always garaged, beautiful, call Bob on 07830 146884 (June 08)
